Panerai's new model has a diameter of 49 mm and is made of a material called Ti-Ceramitech and is water-resistant to 500 meters. To activate the lights on the dial, hands and bezel, the button at 8 o'clock must be pressed. When fully wound, the LEDs distributed throughout the watch can shine for 30 minutes.

The name "DEEPSEA" is engraved in yellow powder on the blue Cerachrom ceramic bezel and blue lacquered dial.
