Casa Cook was originally conceptualised by Remo Masala during his time with Thomas Cook, and in May of 2023 the brand was acquired by Goldman Sachs Asset Management Company. The award-winning, adults-only lifestyle brand currently spans across the Greek islands of Rhodes and Mykonos, as well as El Gouna and North Coast in Egypt. The latest property to join the Casa Cook portfolio in Samos, was designed by Athens-based architecture and design firm Block722.

The Beachouse, the beach restaurant of the 128-room Casa Cook Samos, was inspired by the Greek word “Paréa”, which means “getting together with friends”. “Paréa is at the heart of everything we do,” says Orestis Valis, the owner of Casa Cook Samos. “In Mediterranean culture, Paréa is the name given to a group of friends who meet regularly to share their ideas and life experiences. This community meeting enables both the development of friendships and the discovery of ideas that will enrich the quality of life”.

Orestis Valis states that the hotel’s design was inspired by the traditional Greek houses in the villages of Samos or Kamares. “We aimed to create a realistic and inclusive space. Every Casa Cook hotel appears with an individual design language inspired by the surroundings of its location”.
