PAD LONDON RETURNS to BERKELEY SQUARE

From historical furniture to contemporary craft and high jewellery, a first look at PAD London and the works already on our radar.

A cabinet carved from ash, a console in marble, a credenza inspired by a breaking wave. These are among the pieces that have caught our eye ahead of PAD London’s return to Berkeley Square, Mayfair, from 13 to 18 October 2026.
Held during Frieze week, the fair’s 18th edition will bring together 67 galleries from 18 countries, including 12 first-time exhibitors. The selection takes in furniture, lighting, ceramics, textiles and high jewellery, with established names and emerging makers sharing the floor.
DESIGN ACROSS GENERATIONS
The historical selection spans French Art Deco, Scandinavian modernism, Brazilian mid-century and Italian post-war design. Contemporary presentations bring together ceramics, carved wood, glass and metal, with furniture and lighting often edging towards sculpture. High jewellery draws on ancient stones, gems and artefacts, pairing them with contemporary techniques.
The pleasure lies in following the connections. A curve, a colour or a particular surface can link works made decades apart. For anyone thinking about interiors, the fair is also a chance to see how objects with very different histories might live together in a room.
Founded in 2007 by Parisian antique dealer Patrick Perrin, PAD London is part of a family of fairs that includes PAD Paris, established in 1998, and PAD Saint-Tropez, which held its first edition in July 2026.
Interior designer Veere Grenney chairs this year’s prize jury, with Sophie Ashby, Tom Dixon, Beata Heuman and Faye Toogood among its members. The jury will select the winners of the Booth Prize, Contemporary Design Prize and Historical Design Prize.
